Thanksgiving week 2011

Emilia made this turkey in preschool and couldn't wait to eat it when she got to our house.  I convinced her to let me take a picture of it first though.  She was quite happy with it.

Zach managed to crawl onto Emilia's lap to watch TV.  I'm not sure how he did it but they sat there for a while until Zach started to slide off the chair and under the table top.

Cute even with strawberry remnants on his face and shirt!

Walking around in Grandpa's shoes is a great pasttime!

November 15, 2011 -- Just kind of a lazy day

It hasn't been that typical that the two of these little ones want to sit together for very long at a time, but on Tuesday they seemed very content just to hang out together and watch a program on TV.  I had time to snap quite a few pictures to try to capture the mood they were in.  It was great!

Second Week in November 2011

Zach is delighted when you give him the whole apple instead of sitting him in his chair with slices of it.  He carries it all over the house happily munching on it for quite some time.

Lately Zach is really in to drawing.  As he very carefully draws on the paper he is telling us all about tracks, trains, stars and moons.

He is just a generally happy little guy.

Emilia had a rough day on Thursday.  She was pretty wilted when she first arrived but as you can see from the next few photos, over the course of the day she made a strong recovery.

October 31 through November 4, 2011

Zach didn't seem too thrilled with the whole idea of the costume.  As soon as Jim brought him in from the car he wanted the costume OFF.  He was soooooo cute in it though.....

Emilia, on the other hand, danced happily in her costume for quite some time.  She told me she was a good witch, not a scary witch.

We made cards and a cake for Daddy's birthday.  Emilia  spent quite a bit of time decorating the cake and sampling the frosting to make sure that it tasted just right.

Zach definitely enjoyed his sample piece of cake!

This is the face I see when I tell Zach he can't have something that he wants....he is so disappointed in me...

Like his sister, Zach likes to multi-task.  He watches tv while staring at the picture on the Thomas the Train box from last Christmas.
