Last Half of September, 2012

This is a blurry picture, but I love this look when I get it.

This next series of photos were taken at Paul and Shelby's wedding on September 14.  Emilia is happy with a surprise gift that Grandma and Grandpa had for her in the hotel room.

Zach liked his train (gift) so well that he took it to the wedding later that day.

You have to wonder what Zach is thinking as we wait for the ceremony to start.

First Week in September of 2012 brought colds to everyone in the house.

In this and the next two photos Emilia continued her theme of playing "hair salon".  She told me she has been to a hair salon once so she knows what they do.  I knew I had some vintage foam curlers, so I put them in for her. She thought that was great stuff.

The next day she even talked Grandpa into playing hair salon.  She especially liked the blue ribbon he put in her hair (which was really a zipper from my sewing basket)

Last week in August of 2012

Both of our IPads were on the table and when we looked over at Zach, he had them both open to different games!

Emilia loves to grab Grandma's hat but this time it was especially fun to also hide it from Grandma!

Jim found a place to hang up the swing again and both Zach and Emilia thought it was GREAT!

Emilia wanted to do the ribbon dance (I guess from the Olympics?) so I dug up some ribbon and Jim found the perfect stick.  She loved it!

The perfect day outside for Zach -- a good stick and some rocks!

Jim cleaned up the boys' old Legos and they have been very popular with both Zach and Emilia.

Emilia decided that she wanted to wear the hat I had on as well as the shawl I had been wearing.
